Shipping Policy
General Information
We ship worldwide within 24 hours — often sooner. Orders are packed securely in flat boxes with tissue lining to prevent transit damage. We work with PostNL, DHL, DPD, or comparable carriers depending on your location.
Shipping Rates
We use a zone-based pricing system:
- Zone 1 – Netherlands, Germany, Belgium: €0.00
- Zone 2 – France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, and others: €5.00
- Zone 3 – Ireland, Norway, Finland, Greece: €10.00
- Zone 4 – Canada, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, and others: €12.50
- Zone 5 – Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Philippines, other countries: €15.00
- Zone 6 – United States (express only): €35
Free shipping applies worldwide for orders of three or more items, or two items if one is an anthology.
Exception: U.S. orders are excluded, as express courier service is mandatory.
Estimated Delivery Times
- Zone 1 (NL): 1–3 business days
- Europe (Zones 2–3): 2–7 business days
- Other international zones (4–5): 5–15 business days
- Zone 6 (U.S., via UPS Express Saver): 2–3 business days from the Netherlands, excluding customs clearance.
Tracking is provided whenever supported by the local postal system.
Customs and Import Duties
European Union
No import duties or taxes apply within the EU.
United Kingdom
Orders up to £135 include VAT at checkout. Above this, customs duties and VAT may apply.
United States
Since 23 August 2025, shipments to the U.S. are possible only via express couriers (e.g. DHL or FedEx). The shipping fee (€35) is charged at checkout.
What this means:
- Express courier delivery is mandatory.
- Product prices for U.S. customers are set lower, since shipping is not included in the catalogue price. This partly offsets the higher shipping fee.
- In many cases, U.S. tariffs are calculated on the product price only, not on product + shipping. This helps keep duties lower.
- Import duties, sales tax, VAT, and handling fees are collected by the courier on delivery. Refusal to pay will result in the parcel being returned. In that case, only the product price (minus shipping and related costs) will be refunded.
- U.S. customs may delay parcels for inspection.
- Customs rules may change; we reserve the right to cancel shipments to the U.S. with a full refund if necessary.
- For the best value, we recommend our digital editions.
- We are exploring a U.S.-based distribution partner to improve future delivery options.
Rest of World
Outside the EU, UK, and U.S., local duties, taxes, or handling charges may apply. These are the responsibility of the buyer.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we will replace it or refund you in full.
Note for U.S. customers: This guarantee does not apply to parcels returned because duties or tariffs were refused at delivery.
Cancellations and Returns
- Orders may be cancelled until shipped.
- After receipt, you may cancel your order within 14 days, provided the item is unused and in its original condition.
- Digital and personalised products are excluded unless required by law.
