Welcome

Thanks for visiting Felix Editions. We put a lot of care into our editions, and we hope you’ll enjoy them. To keep things clear and fair for everyone, we’ve set out the terms below. They’re written to be easy to follow, but they also protect both you and us. By using our website or ordering from us, you accept these terms.

1. General

Language: Our terms are in English to keep things consistent.
Applicable Law: Felix Editions is based in the Netherlands. All our activities are governed exclusively by Dutch law. If a dispute arises, it will be handled only by the Dutch courts. Dutch consumer law is among the most protective in the world, generally more favourable to customers than U.S. law.
Updates: We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on our website is always the most recent.

2. Orders and Cancellations

Changing your mind: You can cancel your order any time before it ships. Just contact us at info@felix-editions.com.
Returns: After receiving your order, you have 14 days to return it for a refund—no questions asked.
Custom or digital products: Please note that personalised items and digital downloads cannot be returned once delivered, unless required by law.

3. Prices, Taxes and Duties

Prices: All prices are shown in euros unless stated otherwise.
EU and UK VAT: VAT is included in the price for EU customers. For UK customers, VAT is included for orders up to £135. For orders above that, taxes may be charged separately by UK authorities.
Outside the EU/UK: We do not collect local taxes or duties outside the EU and UK. These may be charged by your local customs office. The HS code for printed sheet music is 4904.00. This information is provided as guidance only.

4. Using Our Website

Eligibility: You must be of legal age in your country to place an order, or have consent from a parent or guardian.
Respect for copyrights: Our editions are protected by copyright. Please don’t copy, distribute, or use them unlawfully.
Third-party tools: From time to time we may link to or provide access to third-party tools or services. We do not control these and are not responsible for how they work.

5. Products and Availability

Accuracy: We make every effort to describe our products accurately. Minor differences in printing or colour may occur.
Changes: We may update, discontinue, or adjust pricing of products at any time. We’ll try to give notice where possible.

6. Liability

Limited liability: Felix Editions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products, except where required by law.
Maximum liability: Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Additional note for U.S. customers

Because U.S. law can be interpreted more broadly than European law, we want to be absolutely clear: U.S. law does not apply to your relationship with Felix Editions. Only Dutch law applies. This is good news for you: Dutch consumer protection law is generally stronger and more straightforward than U.S. law.

Still, for the sake of clarity, here’s the standard U.S.-style disclaimer:

Our products and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall Felix Editions, its owners, or affiliates be liable for damages exceeding the purchase price of your order, regardless of the legal theory under which such damages are claimed.
As stated above, these terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law and the courts of the Netherlands.
